Today, I got my first notice for paying one of my servers… 5 minutes later… it is cut off, disconnecting about 100 people from Teamspeak, severing their voice communication, losing them lots of money in ships…

I called my server company, where the indian guy who answered claimed there was “nothing he could do” and “the system automated is sir”. Helpful…

Meanwhile I was trying to pay for the server, which i hoped would sort it out and make it go back on… I don’t use credit cards much… but I don’t think that made much of a difference here. I have 1 credit card, 1 debit card, and my parents have 2 of each… After trying ALL of the cards, I raged…

Every single fucking card has a new “security” system on it. that you could previously avoid and bypass. “VINI, Verified by Visa, Security Bollocks”. “Please enter your mothers cat’s aunt’s middle name before she was ressurected as zombie mutant jesus” Actually if it had asked me that I would probably have had more luck.

My spanish cards, the ones with the “vini” system… just don’t work, there is no sense to the system whatsoever, it appears that to use your credit card, you have to… Login to the website.. Login again when you get to the vini section as it forgets who you are while you click 1 link. Then you add your credit card, fill in all the info about you that the bank already has and some more, then you have to.. get this.. you have to fill in the site you want to buy from, the username and password you use on that site and then it might work…? I have no idea honestly as I thought, “fuck that” and didn’t bother to do it.

The UK cards were different, they required the Verified by Visa thing.. Something that actually doesnt make much sense either but isn’t quite as fucking stupid as the spanish one.. You have to put in your details as normal… Cept it asks for your post code.. and as we dont live in the UK it doesn’t like our one… So after a phone call to the company we found out we’re meant to use THE BANKs post code… Stupid huh… the only way of finding that out is  calling them…

Eventually I managed to get the visa thing working and the server paid for… though it was down for about an hour, majorly inconviniencing 100 or so people… all due to badly designed automation and retarded banking systems…

Good job to all companies and services involved, you’re setting a shining example for the required level of retardation in this world.. Good show!

Now this might come out sounding rather cruel, I assure you it isn’t meant to sound that way. But we provide millions of dollars of food/builing aid to these countries and they just soak it up. They don’t advance or even try to help themselves.

Whenever there is something on the TV about them, all you see them doing is sitting about with flies picking at them. Seriously, do something! Don’t have water? Dig a frickin well! There are enough of them, they pop a baby out every 9-10 months or so, I’m sure they have enough people to did a fucking well, Sure it might take a bit of work…. but its water

Farms? Sure they don’t have anything to plant… but if they only showed a bit of enthusiasm and started to get some land ready… then maybe someone might feel the slightest bit of empathy towards them.

All this food aid only tackles the problem at hand, not the root of it. If these charities would build something useful, schools dont help fuck. They’re stupid and don’t want to learn. If you really want to sustain them build a water treatment plant and some pipes, fresh water, Build them some buildings they are actually gonna use, maybe homes so they don’t live in mud huts.

Is it just me that thinks the world is throwing money away by helping these guys?

Is forked

Well you probably heard about this a while ago, if you didn’t then i’m here to remind you about it!

It was actually a PDA, you know one of those things which does all sorts of crazy stuff, it wasn’t a particularly new one, from 2001 i think actually so it was the first of the PDA generation I guess. Anyway I guess I should be happy it lasted 7 years, sadly it had only been mine for 3 months.

It became mine when my dad realized he never used any of the features, in fact he didn’t call or even pick up the calls he got on it. So it was pretty much useless to him. So he let me take it after years of wanting the phone I had it! Woo i thought…

I gave my cool stylish Nokia 6680 to my mom as she had a shitty phone at the time, mine had a camera on it and well it was a nice thing to do. So my mom got my phone, my dad got my mom’s old one and I got the old PDA which pre-dated both of the phones by a couple of years at least, 5 actually.

I got the phone when Mike and Warren were over here and I wanted to show mike a PDF on it, I thought “Oh great I’ll load this up and away we’ll go”.

Yeah… it was a good idea, i found a free pdf viewer for it online which worked perfectly. I got it to mike, showed him the map, we were busy going through it when it locked up. froze entirely, couldn’t do jack… In the end had to reset the bastarding thing which wiped EVERYTHING, programs, texts, the lot. I wasn’t pleased…

A few crashes and restarts later I go to plug it into the base (thing to recharge and connect it to the pc with) when I noticed it didnt actually start charging.. On closer inspection a pin of the connected had come off and rendered the device un-re-charge-able [shit load of -s].

So now its sitting on the end of a desk in the lounge, laying looking longingly up at the cieling. [alliteration]

This now leaves me without a phone… for the past month, oh 2 months now actually.

I wonder how many calls I missed… I will check tomorrow and recieve a brilliant array of promotions from my phone company and not a single useful message or call. Actually I might have missed something from Kelate….but thats unlikely as she knew.. so no nothing

Speaking of which I have around 400 Billion different useless things that I won with the “SUPER FUCKOFF AMAZING LOLER DRAW!!!” or whatever the crap is they keep sending!

As I previously promised here is my personal opinions on the recently released S.T.A…. What the hell, stalker.

Stalker Clear sky is a prequel to the first title, STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl. Both games take place in a strange future ukraine where instead of killing everything, the destroyed reactor at chernobyl instead spews out strange waves that change the fabric of time and space and twist it everywhichway. This makes for some interesting gameplay, with the player constantly having to dodge dangerous anomalies and work out how to use the zone to his or her advantage.

You can’t actually change the sex of your character as that is an integral part of the story, another strange thing that perhaps should be noted is that not once does there appear a female character in the game. I seriously hope in this post apocalyptic world there are indeed females, otherwise I would like to reconsider walking through that odd looking white marsh a few miles back. o.O

STALKER Clear Sky, however, has some rather sad features that its predeccessor did not. Yes it has some beautiful graphics and I was in fact so amazed by the graphics that I took a good five minutes upon starting up the game to look at some of its beauty. It features some of the best HDR, lighting, shadows, mapping etc.. that I have ever seen in a game. Okay its not perfect but very little is. Added to that the performance level of it was good even at highest settings, so they got my hardware actually working.

Well as you all know WOTLK  came our recently and I had it on pre-order. Of course, this being spain my order got stuck in customs and likely won’t ever get to me. So I have therefore purchased it online and will be playing it tomorrow as it is currently downloading. This is of course if my spanish internet doesn’t crap out like it has been this evening.

Anyway complaints aside, I’m not sure that I really should talk about my next topic, so I think I will omit that for now. Umm

A question you may be wondering: Do I plan these things?

If you have any reading skills you can probably tell that this is a resounding no and that all of my “good” bits or humor are made up entirely on the spot. In fact I’m not sure my humor comes across very well when it is written so I will attempt to make you laugh with the following. B=============D

I will be posting a first impressions on WoW:WOTLK in a day or 2 as I’m really excited and looking forward to it. I will probably include a few screenshots or interesting things depending on what I see and do. So until then I bid you all happy re-reading of my last posts.

Well, its that time guys, WOTLK is out and of course I just had to go and order it. After getting through an amazingly easy Credit card verification site… (didnt exist) I have a copy in the mail coming to me.

Acording to UPS however the game has already been sent across the atlantic 3 times, back and forth, being rejected by customs each time. I don’t know what the deal is with spanish customs, i think they are .. oh they are spanish, they are fucktarded and havnt got a braincell between everyone working there. Its a game you dumbfucks, its such a small package, unless it was made of extremely light gold I’m not going to make enough money on it to make it worth you taxing me for it.

Of course I have already paid tax on it, and an outrageous delivery fee that was almost as much as the game itself, so I will be pretty pissed if they find more reasons to deny me. Seriously, they will not hear the end of it.

Apart from that, I’m well, not too annoyed and sort of static.

On a funny note: One of my clients decided a few days ago that I was too expensive and decided to move his NWN server to another person hosting it, a private individual. I had the honor of speaking to this new host and took an instant dislike to him and his horrible attitude, the funny point is, just yesterday my client contacted me and asked to come back as the new host was being quite mean. Haww Haww I thought, didn’t see that one coming at all. Anyway Hopefully he will come back soon, Unless he reads this somehow and it scares him away. Though he shouldnt be scared, i didn’t even say that his name was….. *grin*

Also on yet another WoW related note: I just flew to the plaugelands, the home of all new death knights, oh dear is all I have to say. Ganking and fighting and fighting and ganking all around. Fun!

Also anyone notice that even though I wrote about O BA MA a while back he is still the top subject in my google ads? even though it was only mentioned once? God america really blows up the whole election thing.

Ohh sorry, i’m informed that its actually pussy cat dolls, could have fooled me. Has anyone actually watched these videos or listened to these … “songs”? I mean seriously… There is absolutely 0 talent there. “an sho em wat u got”. It simply makes me sick.

Okay now you say.. “Oh but they have talent”. Yes I’m sure they do, in fact I know they do, they know how to: dress badly, reveal 80% of their body, shake anything that can wobble and generally just attract idiots who are fans just for the looks of the singers… In fact I can’t call them singers, artists.. thats still a very generous word.

Anyway, you may be asking what is my point here? well my point is that today i have noticed the pussycat dolls somehow on my internet travels and today I was also disgusted and I laughed at how shoddy and poor their performances were.
