Sov's Crazy Ramblings

I was just asked by Lobster((Rethius)(Ret)) where the name sovhed came from… and let me tell you wow thats a story.. I think its a good idea that I tell you just so you arent wondering and I thought that it would make for an interesting, though maybe not funny read.

It all started one day when I got Battlefield 1942. I had been playing alone happily and decided I wanted to do something else, I downloaded Desert Combat.. at that stage it was in early development.. After a while I met someone called *S*G*Something (can’t remember the name now). They invited me to their clan and I thought “oh what the heck”

I joined, the day after the clan fell apart, not due to me or my choice but the clan leader got bored, as most of the small clans do.. I figured… okay whatever..

A few months later and I had Battlefield Vietnam, an awesome game… I was in operation irving and this asshole called “=SoV=DefineDeath” pwned my ass in an f4 Phantom, napalming me to death with my own plane.. We got talking and he invited me to join the clan he was in.. “Shadows of Vengeance” Cool name I thought, so stamped my name and signed, choosing the game name of  ”=SoV=hEaD_bUsTeR”. Lovely eh?

Over the next 2 and a half years I enjoyed =SoV= life, playing in clan matches, working my way slowly to near the top, eventually providing the teamspeak and game servers for the clan at the start of my hosting company. We saw our way through battlefield 2 and won many battles, but eventually when the release of Battlefield 2142 was nigh we decided enough was enough, we didn’t enjoy BF2142 and we could see that we wouldn’t be doing it for fun. We decided to go our own seperate ways with gaming, leaving the =SoV= clan in the dust of the past, a great era of gaming laid to rest.. a sad day.

Well as you can see, my name is from here, it changed slowly over time, evolved even. I started as “sovHead” in planeshift, then “SovHed” in numerous free games, then eventually WoW, leading us to the present day where my name is SovHed still… I may go by Ephirus on WoW but there is still SovHed inside me.

I purchased this domain about 3 years ago when I first took up the name SovHed and its stuck ever since.

Anyway that is the story of all about how my life got quick turned upside down and i just took a minute to sit right here, and tell you how I became the prince of …wait a minute…

I guess it is time to come clean… I’m an e-rapist. I love staring at…wait a minute…. Wrong blog

Anywhoo…. 

I’m just blogging to say, I have recently met a wonderful girl, who has come in to my life and …. well we get along so well its rather odd. And. long story short, we’re going out.

Woah this blog was a massive fail of early morning blogging. I don’t see a single good sentance in here…

I’ll try again when I’m alive some more.

Oh dear, what is this… a hyperactive girl by the name of boxxy making a video for another of her scary hyperactive friends on youtube. For some reason this is now the 5th most searched thing on google today, a spicy trend apparently. How the fuck? Seriously? its just a video blog of someone who has an IQ of about 6 who drunk over 9000 litres of coke before she made this video and the last … 15-16 years of her life.

Wow… yeah so as you can guess i’m not an awesome fan of boxxy, she has a nice voice but I don’t see how it has become such an internet craze so quickly. I’m interested to see how this affects my google ranking as I’m sure this will appear in a search engine somewhere.

I was going to the shop to buy … ummm well lets not get into exactly what, and I put it on the counter and asked the guy “how much do I owe ya?”

He said.. “I need about tree fiddy”

It was about this time that I realized this guy was about 20 stories tall and had scales! 

It was the god damn loch ness monster!

I said, “Damit monster, I aint givin you no tree fiddy, go get your own damn money!”

Back to the realm of sanity you get -100 points if you know the show thats from, and -500 if you know the episode.

Post-writing comment: I just found this in my drafts and thought, oh that would be fun to post.

Well as you all know WOTLK  came our recently and I had it on pre-order. Of course, this being spain my order got stuck in customs and likely won’t ever get to me. So I have therefore purchased it online and will be playing it tomorrow as it is currently downloading. This is of course if my spanish internet doesn’t crap out like it has been this evening.

Anyway complaints aside, I’m not sure that I really should talk about my next topic, so I think I will omit that for now. Umm

A question you may be wondering: Do I plan these things?

If you have any reading skills you can probably tell that this is a resounding no and that all of my “good” bits or humor are made up entirely on the spot. In fact I’m not sure my humor comes across very well when it is written so I will attempt to make you laugh with the following. B=============D

I will be posting a first impressions on WoW:WOTLK in a day or 2 as I’m really excited and looking forward to it. I will probably include a few screenshots or interesting things depending on what I see and do. So until then I bid you all happy re-reading of my last posts.

Well, its that time guys, WOTLK is out and of course I just had to go and order it. After getting through an amazingly easy Credit card verification site… (didnt exist) I have a copy in the mail coming to me.

Acording to UPS however the game has already been sent across the atlantic 3 times, back and forth, being rejected by customs each time. I don’t know what the deal is with spanish customs, i think they are .. oh they are spanish, they are fucktarded and havnt got a braincell between everyone working there. Its a game you dumbfucks, its such a small package, unless it was made of extremely light gold I’m not going to make enough money on it to make it worth you taxing me for it.

Of course I have already paid tax on it, and an outrageous delivery fee that was almost as much as the game itself, so I will be pretty pissed if they find more reasons to deny me. Seriously, they will not hear the end of it.

Apart from that, I’m well, not too annoyed and sort of static.

On a funny note: One of my clients decided a few days ago that I was too expensive and decided to move his NWN server to another person hosting it, a private individual. I had the honor of speaking to this new host and took an instant dislike to him and his horrible attitude, the funny point is, just yesterday my client contacted me and asked to come back as the new host was being quite mean. Haww Haww I thought, didn’t see that one coming at all. Anyway Hopefully he will come back soon, Unless he reads this somehow and it scares him away. Though he shouldnt be scared, i didn’t even say that his name was….. *grin*

Also on yet another WoW related note: I just flew to the plaugelands, the home of all new death knights, oh dear is all I have to say. Ganking and fighting and fighting and ganking all around. Fun!

Yes, I’m sure you have seen this before, but oh well, I thought about it today when I heard the original so I decided to watch it again. So here it is.

Also anyone notice that even though I wrote about O BA MA a while back he is still the top subject in my google ads? even though it was only mentioned once? God america really blows up the whole election thing.
